Scent Strength Notes: Using more or less fragrance may produce different results in your final product. Our notes are ONLY our opinion based on our own personal usage. Before running your own tests, be sure to review the IFRA certificate for maximum safe usage levels on the IFRA page tab. On a scale 1-5 with 5 being the strongest we rate it 4-5. (For Example): When we first open the bottle to smell the aroma the strength is 3-4 medium in our opinion. Individual usage can vary based on your desired fragrance strength. *We recommend ordering sample sizes of these products (when available) before buying a larger quantity.
Recommended Usage:
Aroma beads: (8:2 ratio/ 8-ounce unscented beads with 2-ounce fragrance oil).
Candles and wax melts: Typical use is 1 ounce per pound of wax, but can vary depending on type of wax, additives, and scent throw preference.
Soap and skin care products: Please reference IFRA information for safe usage percentages.
The Level of Use (%)” is not the recommended level of use for the best end results, but the maximum level acceptable under the restrictions of the certificate for that fragrance. Most levels will be significantly lower, depending on the industry recommendations and the crafter’s preference.
